Hey guys I am considering upgrading my 5.0L GT C/S radiator to either a perfomance pack radiator or a Mishimoto. What would you guys say is best for a whippled car that would occasionally be tracked?
No it was not needed. I am going to autocross my car more than drag race so Kelly said the stock bushings for the diff will be fine. The diff bushings only see a bunch of deflection when loading up the driveline and dumping it to take off at a dead stop (Drag Racing). I have other things I did...
So for the bolt upgrade I went with lethal performance's S550 Extreme Diff Bolt Upgrade Kit. Kelly at BMR suggested to me this kit over the full bolt though option. The reason why he suggested this kit is it bolts through on the front and then uses a sleeve to fill the void in the rear bushing...
I will still use the same MAF housing. Just the GT350 box and filter. I will try to make it clean as possible.
As for the set up now with the Mishimoto silicone tube the butt dyno says more power and the throttle is snappier.
Hey guys,
I am in the process of making my own intake combo. I wanted the Mishimoto intake tube due to its big no tune HP gains. I also wanted a disposable filter that would flow more while having a bucket/ box around it that wouldn't transfer heat like the Mishimoto powder coated aluminum...
I want to be at some where around 800rwhp. I am lining up the mods now. I just want to pick a direction so that way I don't end up spending money on something like an intake and using the thing for 3 months and then yank it out and try to sell it for full retail.
I see that you have the...
I am just speaking from experience from my daily, a Powerstroke w/ mods ect... And if i want to autocross I do not want to fight what we call in Texas cowboy kick (when the turbo lights).
On my 2016 GT am trying to pick a direction to go with for the forced induction. I ruled out turbos because they take too long to light and I want smooth linear instant power.
So my top two setups are a Whipple or a GT350 manifold with a ProCharger. I am wondering which setup on a stock...
