  1. GT PP Brake Pad Options

I tried a search for Hawk pads with nothing listed for the S550s yet.... Anyone know of trackable street pads available for the GT PP? I am going to be doing a track day next week and wanted to have an extra set of pads available if needed, but would really like to have some Hawk HP+ or...
  2. Alignment advice for lowered cars, any share their specs?

Anyone know where to find the factory alignment specs? Just for reference purposes I would like to know what the factory specs are on the GT PP. I am planning to have my car aligned on Friday so I will be glad to share the final results. I would like to get the toe as close to zero as...
  3. Recommendations for alignment shop?

Does anyone have a shop that they would recommend for a performance oriented alignment around the McGuire/Dix/Lakehurst area? Every place that I have checked into has said that they will only align the car to factory specs, not my specs. I am just looking to zero out the toe front and rear and...
  4. First Time DIY Stripe Install

It's the stow & show bracket from CJ Pony Parts. http://www.cjponyparts.com/license-plate-bracket-sto-n-sho-50th-anniversary-performance-package-gt-2015/p/LPB41/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Steeda Mustang Shifter Base Bushing Bracket Kit*

Not sure what you are referring to.... The notchy shifter is more than likely just the internal movement of parts in the transmission. A fluid change may improve it if that is in fact what you are talking about. The bushing will probably only amplify anything your are feeling through the...
  6. Steeda Mustang Shifter Base Bushing Bracket Kit*

I installed both earlier this week.... Not a big PITA to install, but definitely required some choice words to get the shifter bushing in place without dropping the middle section of exhaust. The shifter bushing made a big difference in the feel and rigidity of the stock shifter. Definitely...
  7. First Time DIY Stripe Install

Here are a few pics out in the sunshine today.
  8. First Time DIY Stripe Install

The instructions provided by Big Worm were a big help. The pictures helped and I followed them step-by-step. Just make sure you measure and use masking tape to hold everything in place, take your time and triple check the alignment. I found that using plenty of water helped with positioning...
  9. First Time DIY Stripe Install

Thanks for the compliments. My heat gun failed after finishing the hood so I had to resort to using a hair dryer as well. Worked like a charm! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. First Time DIY Stripe Install

Well I have to start with a big Thank You to Big Worm Graphix for the excellent customer service and a quality product! I ordered the dual wide stripe kit with pin stripe. They threw in the extra red pin stripe at my request for no additional charge. I just got around to tackling the install...
  11. Can I jack up rear @ differential?

A block of wood with some rubber on one side between the jack and the diff is what I've used on previous vehicles. My last car (2006 WRX Wagon) was about 3250 lbs and was jacked up from the rear diff all the time... Never had a problem. IIRC the service manual even mentioned using it. For...
  12. Another tuning question(s)...

Not trying to hijack the thread... Who can I get a custom tune through using a Diablo Sport inTune to flash? Doesn't look like there are many people talking about Diablo Sport on here. Is there a big difference between the SCT X4 and the inTune?
  13. TPMS sensor lead time.

Not immediately upon startup when leaving work. It seems to take longer than 20 min for it to recognize that there are no sensors. My commute is only about 15 minutes so it doesn't seem to happen that often if only going to and from work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. TPMS sensor lead time.

I also am without sensors on my winter setup. It seems that in the morning when I start the car, it picks up the sensors from my stock wheels in the garage or maybe reading the sensors from my wife's car (Honda Pilot) parked next to it? But after about 20 minutes of driving I get the warning...
  15. Red Line...

Great news Rachel! I was really hopeful that the black inserts with red stitching would come with the Redline Recaros. I can't wait to see my car now...... COTUS says it was delivered yesterday, but I won't be home until later this month to take delivery. Everything seems like slow motion now.
  16. My unexpected.......problem?

I also am deployed and will be taking delivery of my Mustang soon after I get home.... Late Jan. I originally scheduled delivery for 2 Feb, but my car shows an EDD of 8 Jan. I have been told that the dealer will hold the car until I am able to get it, and if needed I can push back the delivery...
  17. My Mustang has arrived, with pictures

Great pics! Almost makes me wish I had gone with blue.
  18. any one try an 18 inch wheel over the Brembos?

What package is this? You must not be talking about a GT PP package because I haven't seen anything that cheap on there. A set of 19" snow tires alone are about $1200 for 255/40/19s all the way around. Now a set of 255/45/18s you can get for under $1K.
  19. Which aftermarket wheels?

The Gram Lights 57FXX and TSW Portiers are another option... I love the matte black center with the gloss black lip of the TSWs. A red pin stripe around the lip would be pretty amazing.
  20. HRE and FlowForm Wheels at SEMA 2014

Those RTR Tech 7s.... Hopefully available in other colors? Must have in matte black!
