I just realized these renders are very similar to the Giugiaro concept with Evos influence, except for the tail lights. Ford must have been using that concept as inspiration.
Wow, that orange looks great on those renders. :thumbsup:I like how the body contrasts with the blacked out rocker panels. It really accentuates the sporty look. Chaz, JJW don't worry about the critics, you can't please everyone.
The profile of Chazcron's render is much more sleek than the C&D render. A concern I have though, if this is accurate, is the back seat head room. While the slope of the roof looks cool, it seems similar to a Nissan Z car, and that's a two seater. Mustangs have always been notorious for limited...
Problem is we have already seen photos of the front and Chaz has modeled his render after those photos. The front of the Mustang won't look more like the Evos until the first refresh in '17 or '18.
I could never understand why black, white, and silver are so popular. Black hides the beautiful contours of the car, white is bland, and silver is plain and oxidizes too easily. I have always been a big fan of the 1st gen and my favorite color is aqua. That color always seemed vibrant yet...
Chaz did a great job with the rendering. From everything we have seen so far this design is probably very close to what the S550 will be for 2015. Personally, I think it definitely looks like a Mustang, but it also looks dated to me, comparing it to what other automobile manufacturers are...
Actually, if I got close enough to Elle MacPherson's nose for it to look distorted, I would be very impressed. Oh, you were talking about a picture, oops.:o
I'm liking what we've seen so far, but it's not as aggressive and different as I would have liked. I think Ford might be going too conservative with the 2015. Look how the 1st and 5th gens evolved. The difference between the '66 and '67, and '09 to '11. I bet Ford is leaving room for a more...
I think the 5.0 is going to be a tight fit. That's why they are getting rid of the 5.8. With the down sizing and weight reduction, I bet they designed the S550 small enough where they'll have to shoehorn the coyote in with just enough space for TT's.
I'm pretty sure the headlights look different because of the wide angle perspective of the camera lense. They are probably the same headlights. The early photos were taken with a super telephoto.
I'm anxious to see the back end, but part of me wants to be wowed when they do the official...
What's wrong with the Fusion looking like an Aston Martin that appeals to the masses. Aston's are $100g+ cars with great styling. Ford sells 10x's as many Fusions as they do Mustangs. The purpose of a car company is to sell as many cars as they can to make a profit, not cater to the desires of a...
I agree. Fifty years is a major milestone. Most people buying mustangs were not even born during the '60's. Ford should have a fresh start. I have often thought the name "Stallion" would make a good high performance special edition, but maybe that sounds too gimmicky.
No, I would not go. With all the camoed mules Ford is driving around, how could they not have actual s550's at the celebration. Even if they are not in full production by then, Ford would still have many different versions at each event. This 50th will be too important to the company's image to...
