When I first purchased my still new to me 2019 GT Premium I could not get it in the garage because it sat too low. A previous owner installed lowering springs.
I paid a concrete person to tear out the pad and rework it, which helped. But the exhaust bolts still scrape a little bit. I built up a...
Took the car for a test drive, I really like this weighted shift knob. I can tell the difference with the weight, feels more solid, not as noisy, smoother, I'm actually surprised, I had low expectations.
Unfortunately I've had no success finding a weighted, sphere shaped white replacement shift knob. All the ones I have found are less than half a pound. Billetworkz makes a nice tear dropped one, that's heavy, not sure I like the tear drop though.
I'm never on the highway for more than a couple minutes where I live. So, it makes sense to me. And I didn't purchase his car to worry about fuel mileage.
I agree with all the comments about 5th and 6th gear, I have rarely gone into 6th gear. I leave it in 5th gear at highway speeds. Note mine is not a daily driver and it's usually only doing quick weekend trips around town.
Only trying to help when I say this; come up with a better, more...
Thank you, I don't have a MGW shifter though and I learned ,after posting this reply to you, reverse is down versus up on the MGW shifter. I think you're saying it will work stock though, with reverse up?
Thanks for all the awesome replies, I've looked at the ones you have recommended, and now I'm even more confused, which one to purchase. I like the Hurst, I test drove a 2020 GT with one in it before I purchased my current one, and remember thinking it was cool. That was almost 4 months ago...
I'm looking to upgrade the shift knob on my still new to me 2019 GT Premium PP1. So far I'm liking this Hurst one:

The reviews are favorable except I see folks talking about it being bigger than they expected. Seems a...
On my boat with twin caterpillar engines I have to pump the oil out. And make myself into a pretzel, stand upside down, twist and turn, just to get my hand on one of the two oil filters. Then I have to figure out how to spin it off.
And don't do what I did and forget to remove the cap on the drain pan/container.I came back to 9 quarts of oil on the garage floor since it had nowhere to go but overflow.
