Kentucky's limit is 35% on the front sides and 18% on all the rear glass. I would want it all to be the same so that means 35% across the board. Also, no reputable shop will violate the limit because they are required to install a compliance sticker on the door jamb and violations are Class B...
They will think it's fine until a bad accident occurs and they are being grilled at trial by a merciless plaintiff's attorney regarding their reckless disregard of the warnings about summer tires.
Michelin does not offer the Pilot Super Sport in 305/35/19 either. Actually, they don't offer ANY aspect ratio in a tire wider than 285 for 19-inch wheels on a 2015 Mustang. If you want wider than 285, you can't have 19-inch wheels; you must do 20's.
Any ideas why Michelin does not offer the PSS in any width larger than 285 (e.g., no 295 or 305) with a 40 aspect ratio for the rear of a staggered setup on 19-inch wheels?
Any chance they will add those sizes anytime soon to accommodate the new Mustang?
Cons of 21-22 inch wheels on a Mustang:
Rough ride
Diminished protection for expensive rims from potholes
Tires are expensive and the selection is sparse
And, they just don't look right
Any chance that some installs are better than others and what appears to be the dreaded drone is actually the vibration of a loose fitting or something out of adjustment?
The Corsa exhaust system on the yellow Mustang in the videos is the "Xtreme" version, correct? Will Corsa also offer "Sport" and "Touring" versions for those of us who are looking for free flow but not obnoxious noise levels?
Terrible idea. You will be giving yourself a false sense of security notwithstanding that those rock-hard summer tires on the front end won't brake worth a darn.
