Just the same as any other Mustang + making sure the proper Mach1 bits are intact like the strut bar, proper wheels, shift knob, etc. See if the car cover is there, and I think there is a owners package that may be there if you're lucky.
Thinking of picking up a set to run during the colder months since I can then just run 9.5in square. Anyone running them? Any positive or negative feedback?
Turn rev matching, hill assist and all that stuff off, not the safety stuff just the assistant stuff. Then just take your time to get used to it. A lot of it is learning to go off feel, sound and practice.
I have some hills with almost 0 traffic by my home, I did a loop of that area for a few...
Just curious if there has been any revisions or changes to the 10spd since it was introduced. Any durability improvements, tuning changes, gear changes, etc. that make it better to look for one year or version over another similar to how the MT-82 has had many revisions and improvements.
One thing I may recommend would be restoring to Lunds original tune he gave you and give him a call and see what to data log. He may be able to diagnose what's wrong since the shop seemingly can't.
If it ran just fine with that tune BEFORE the gears and clutch, then the shop did something when working on the car that's causing the issue. Like a vacuum leak, needing a crank relearn, broken or disconnected sensor... something. The tune won't just randomly change unless it's getting a bad...
I have. I just don't care about being the fastest. My previous car was a 550WHP Infiniti Q50. Before that I've had a Supercharged Focus SVT and a 2003 Cobra. I just don't find them the most fun cars I've had.
True, but I've always just found NA more fun than FI. On my previous cars I'm usually the guy that would do heads, cams, IM then wondering about higher compression before even thinking of any form of FI.
Love your car. Pretty sure an Eruption A10 M1 is probably the only thing I'd trade my BULLITT for. Shame they never made the M1 in Brittany Blue. That would probably be my 2nd greatest temptation.
Out of warranty now and thinking on my next inspection/oil change also having the following done. Is this maybe overkill? or just smart preventative Maintenace?
5w-30 Mobil1 or MC Full Synthetic
Brake/clutch fluid flush/change
Pads/rotors
Transmission/rear fluid change
Then, oil aside, I...
Just curious. I have no plans, or funds to, but I feel like a GT350 swap or a N/A Predator or Godzilla build would be fun for a BULLITT. Maybe if my Gen 3 blows for any reason I'll look into it, but was curious if anyone already has.
Then maybe buy when there is a sale coming up then just put it on in November.
I've never seen anyone in the Mach1 or Bullitt chats say they had any issues due to running it. The only thing that I'd suggest is when you order it request to keep the pops and burbles you get when you downshift and...
