Yes you can get a set of 17x10 and 18x5 in a few different brands. magna ride does have drag racing calibrations. 9s for the 18+ have been apparently easy. from what i seen any boost system on e85 + drag wheels( ET street R work) + axles/drive shaft then just add a few basic suspension parts
Ok last i looked it seemed like there was a reason it wouldnt work.. but ya would be good that and an ice tank in the trunk. but at that point youre throwing away that precious warranty
From what i heard the VMP triple pass doesnt fit the 18+ but you can get an ice tank. but if the goal is warranty id leave it all alone.
the E85 issue is only for some. or you can go 93 for daily and swap to E85 tune for track. but yes access can be a problem for some
i think i accidentally...
You’re reaching deep lol. Stangmode went 11.3 with intake/tune and drag radial on stock wheels. Sorry as originally posted an NA e85 car gonna give you a hard time. Especially after that small heat exchanger heat soaks
its literally listed in the post you quoted.. lol i stated you had at least an extra 5k for those items. and stated above you need all those things with the roush which is why i didnt bother breaking them down.
roush super charger is what 9-10k after install?
intake $200
longtubes + install $2500
E85 Tune $500
3200
call it 5k left for suspension wheels/tires, and converter.
guess who wins.
the point that started all this was if you wanted some form of warranty the roush is nice but would be...
i try to go based on cars other than Steeda as they have played with their setup in so many ways and run what a 10.3 now? but 10.8 10.9 seem pretty easy NA e85. The problems with roush are the Inlet, the heat exchanger, and the tune. I figure there might eventually be some cooling upgrades or an...
this was part of one of the original statements. if your want ease of warranty (from roush not ford) then it can be an option. I believe most people will eventually get the urge to go past the warranty. at that point is where the roush is disappointing. unless you can get one for cheap
basing performance off of dyno sheet is worse than any video. its been known since the gen 1 that the roush tune is not going to deliver anything impressive. we are just trying to give perspective for people about to spend 8k+ on performance. compared to maybe 5k e85 NA car.
False, if you think a bolt on E85 car cost 8k+ thats not true and theyre not gutted
as stated before the peak HP doesnt net the performance. the roush tune delivers power slow and easy. like i said before if you want some form of warranty its not a bad way to go. but if youre going to later...
probably an awesome DA for the stock car e85 NA cars are pulling those times too.
the PBD tuned car is irrelevant as we are discussing the warranty. and a boosted 18 on e85 and 100shot only making 857 is meh. 700s on e85 is low.
you can say high 9s but they havent. fastest i seen is low 10s...
ya was my fault i looked closer. stock roush blower. even the updated tune i think is just some shift adjustment for better driving.
but yes as the video shows. it has a tough time against an e85 tuned car. wondering if it even had bolt ons.
