I believe the earlier GT500’s used the TR6060 which has a much higher torque capacity.
That said, I saw someone mentioned the torque capacity listed in the spec is based on a 3000kg vehicle. If that’s true, I wish there was a torque capacity rating for various weights.

I think anymore torque added would be more than the TR3160 can handle, no?

I just ordered a Mustang Mach 1 with 700A and Tremec 6spd in Shadow Black w/ the magnetic painted aluminum wheels.
The build has been sent to ford and deposit paid.
Made sure the dealership knows: no badges, no wash, no holes in the front bumper.
The salesman said it would take up to 6 months...
