I think matching is better than ever but it's never perfect, they just spray color on the first 4-6 inches to blend.

Got my car back and it looks great. New hood, prepped and painted along with prepping the fenders and hood inserts, inserts got new paint, blended in color on fenders and cleared everything at the same time. Also replaced my 5.0 badges because they were removed to prep, not masked. Replaced...

All these negative comments are a big reason why I went with a more mild exhaust on this car (Corsa Sport CB). My old mustang was LOUD and I was sick of it. Hard to talk over, hard to hear any other issue with the car, unwanted attention from the cops was enough although I never had issues...

So things are looking up for me. I was able to explain the TSB to the dealer/ford CSC and ford approved a new hood and is also covering replacing the clearbra. We'll see what really happens. If this comes back outside of warranty it will be a carbon or fiberglass hood.

Got it! Thanks! So this hood should be replaced with a new part number that "wont" have this issue? Did they update the process or something?

Should I try to stop them and lobby for a new hood? My warranty is up 7/30 so I can't really drag my feet on this.

My car is in for "repair" of hood corrosion this week. First, my dealer is terrible. I couldn't even get them to propose a new hood to ford. Instead, the car is getting the grind and refinish treatment. Also, I have a clear bra installed and they are not willing to replace it...

When I bought my GT in 15' I could download or have a brochure emailed to me and a lot of them had a $500, $750 or $1000 private offer coupon in them. I think I had a 750 that was eligible when my car showed up. I'm buying the wife an escape today and want to see if any of those tricks...

I know it's unlikely but has anyone seen a replica of the 19" bright silver metallic wheels in a wider size? I love these wheels but a 255 just isn't enough tire for the rear of this car. It would be nice to have a 275-285 in the rear and keep the stockers up front.

They put in a new valve spring. A couple days latter I had an issue with a cam phaser on that bank. Probably related but not sure how. They put in a new one and haven't had any issues.

I have one. Do you guys get a fair amount of air coming out of your defrost vents when you have floor only selected? I took it in once for this and they said this was normal but I think its a bit excessive.

Are these issues considered power train warranty or only under the 3/36k bumper to bumper?

Sounds like you glazed the clutch and are getting some chatter from it not hooking up. Are you getting any clutch slip?
