  1. Borla S Type Catback: Too Loud

In case y'all are wondering Mishimoto did an experiment dynoing several X pipes of varying angles, H pipes and the stock resonator they concluded that they did not see a significant change in performance in any system. So it's largely just about the sound at least on our s550s.

  6. What happens to Ford's buyback cars?

Just curious what they do with them after they buy them back. Lol could be a great platform for a race car build lol
  7. CHTs low? Good problem right

Yeah thats probably y.. I know methanol burns at lower temps so it cools the engines intake
  8. CHTs low? Good problem right

  9. Tuned or not?

Ask your tuner which they prefer. The big 3 (Lund, vmp, pbd,....) write in both. Some say the ngauge is more stable.
  10. Latest mod. Better 60 ft?

Also a 9 sec car is still a 9 sec car whether its on Slicks or street tires. The slicks are just using the power the car has more efficiently. And protecting your drivetrain from shock loads caused by wheelspins
  11. Latest mod. Better 60 ft?

More power to u man i have a PP gen 2. I run all season tires on it because spending 1000.00 on tires once per year for miles I'm using to go to work and Kroger got ridiculous. If i we're to put my car on a road course again i would for sure run some summers or R comps. I wouldnt run all...
  12. 2015 Mustang Gt Tune needed for a Intake?

No the canned tunes are programmed for the stock maf diameter. You need a tune because the maf will sense that the intake speed has slowed down and make your car run like crap. Kind of like unplugging one of your vacuum hoses. Get a 250.00 lund tune or 200.00 pbd and send them the datalogs...
  13. Steeda Sets New World Record - UPDATE - 9.787 @141.22 mph

Yeah... But no one cares. Thats why GM is trying to bribe mustang owners...
  14. Freeing up power

Agreed. These motors arent low reving 2 valves from long ago. The crank sensors are really sensitive so I'd recommend keeping all the drive gears and pulleys stock. Theres literally nothing to be gained changing them unless you run a blower and a tune obviously for them to reset stuff. Dont...
  15. Tuned or not?

I believe tuners like the SCT have the factory base map hard coded in them. Its why if you get an error or lose connection the SCT is designed to return your car to stock and not brick your pcm. You can call SCT to verify this I think the ngauge does the same. A cheaper alternative maybe to...
  16. Latest mod. Better 60 ft?

Thats silly... Would you go hiking in flip flops? Then why would you do the equivalent to your car. Its just tires.
  17. Rumor is, 4 door Mustang is coming.

No... Thats not a thing take that cack right now. That shits not funny
  18. Freeing up power

Exedy clutch and flywheel And lighter wheels and tires can have a huge impact on performance. The Mishimoto intake tube smooths out the airflow. And maximizes th stock manifold
  19. Opinion about Ford Performance Power pack level 3?

My advice would be to take a few days or a month to analyse your driving and see where you would like more power. Then buy the mods to get you there. For most people daily driving mid range power us what they want, because thats something you will feel everyday, in traffic, around turns etc...
