In the future I am wanting to add a carbon fiber hood and fenders to my 2021 Mustang GT. Who should i go with for fenders? Anderson Composites says their fenders are not designed for wider wheel setups.
Im thinking about going apex wheels and ordering 18x10s (if i stay NA) They weigh 18.4 at about 2800 bucks. Is it worth an extra 4 or 5 grand to save 2 extra pounds a wheel?
No. Just a street/mountain car with maybe one or 2 track days a year. I want the carbon brakes because of low dust, weight, and they last a good while.
I love my magnaride, i would not give that up.
Where do I get magnesium wheels đź‘€
My 2015 made power all the way to about 8350 with comp stage 3s (yes. Did springs and retainers), ported 350 manifold, stock TB, steeda intake with ported/polished heads. Made about 520 whp on e and shifted about 8200. 🤷‍♂️
Ive heard different things. Some say they are a good upgrade, some say dont waste your money.
I hate foxbodies. Not even cheap anymore. They are ugly as sin, too. Or maybe, i prefer modern interiors more. Who knows?
0 brake dust, last forever (almost), and weight very little. Worth the cost to me.
And i wanted the magride. I love the magride. I'm not getting rid of it.
No. The engine is currently 100% stock other than headers and tuning.
A 500+ whp car, revving to about 78-8000 RPMS, and weighing about 35-3600 pounds will be a blast to drive anywhere. Mountains, a track, or to a local meet.
My 2021 is currently full steeda suspension, pp2 vdm (magride car), headers, oz flex tuned.
Going to go apex wheels, carbon brakes all around, carbon DS, g-force axles, titanium wheel studs and lug nuts. Then, after that will be Bullit Manifold and TB, steeda 121mm cold air and maybe cometic...
Would you suggest if someone were building a street/track car to put cams in their gen 2 or gen 3 'yote with a gt350/ bullit IM? Only difference is GT350 is analog and Bullit is digital.
I think for right now, my plan is e85 or e98 (e98 is cheaper than e85R LMAO), steeda 121 CAI, ported Bullit TB and IM, 1 7/8 Headers with FFE, Double H pipe, and stock active exhaust. I might do Cometic headgaskets, too. Should be close to a 500whp handling car. With lightening it up how I want...
Ah. Okay. 515whp with a stock im/ intake setup is crazy. Im thinking i will be about the same with an ported IM, ported TB, and a steeda 121 intake. My biggest thing after that is cooling/ airflow. Mountain driving with up to 20k DA will be insane.
Yeah. Im looking at apex wheels, titanium lugnuts and wheel studs, carbon brakes front and rear with e brake deletes, front wilwood calipers that are 6 pounds lighter than the Brembo ones, and a cf driveshaft. Iirc Gforce Axles are about 1.3 pounds lighter than oem. Wonder if they count, too.
