Trust me, there is no way this car is too noisy stock. It's quieter than my XK, I was shocked how quiet it is.

This is a screen shot of the UK price list. By the fact it says (painted) for the black roof but doesn't for the stripes I think it's fair to say they aren't painted. Apologies for the confusion.

We've known this for a while in the UK, the stripes will fade on the 2016. I went for the black roof instead. Pretty sure the stripes are painted too so you can't peel them off. It's the GT350 (that we can't buy:mad:) that gets solid stripes.

It's funny, some manufacturers have 'black pack' as an extra where chrome is standard and you pay for it to be deleted. I thought about this for a long time before making a final decision and looked at loads of cars that come with / without chrome trim - basically my opinion is that it blends in...

I think even the first UK orders say 2016MY, I know mine does. The extra deposit is bullshit. Tell your dealer your well informed via the forums and no one else in the country has had to do this. You could work a finance deal putting down less so he's trying it on.
