I think it's deceiving. The power as you said comes on so linear and so fucking fast that before you know it you're in going to jail speed.

A good shop will take at max 10 hours for the whipple. Headers are probably 6 hours on their own. You won't save on labor for doing both of them as they're two totally different jobs. So you figure 16 hours at $150/hr - ~$2400
