I doubt the car will have a big role in the movie, maybe just a short cameo type thing. They probably had to hide the crap out of it and only took it out for a few days of shooting.

If the GT comes in at 3380 lbs I would shit myself. Imagine what the GT350 could weigh, with all the talk about how the GT350 will get a smattering of carbon fibre

Oh lawd that's nice. Clearly the GT is going to look pretty awesome with some mods. I'd love to see some different possibilities for the Ecoboost grille. With the new engine I think we'll start to see enthusiasts actually care about mods for something other than the GT.

I agree, but I doubt we will be seeing it anytime soon. Brown is out of fashion and tho I like it and like it for its rarity on the road nowadays, that's probably why we won't see it. Ford's obviously going with the color options that the mainstream will love, I mean we have like 3 shades of...

I'm thinking Ford knows exactly which colors it looks best in (silver and guard) and saving those for the BIG events to come like Detroit and NY.

That's much better, looks great. I need to order one of these up right now! I keep thinking about this car now and it's still so far away.....then we'll have to wait until the aftermarket shops get their hands on one before we see improvements like this.

Ok so what is being shut down permenantly it sounds like is the 5.8L Trinity motor production? I take "niche" to mean no other car gets the motor so that's what I understand from his post.
