They’re + 50 and are perfectly flush..will tuck that 305/35 with no issue.
Fronts are 10” wide and +35 offset. I run a 275/35 but should fit a 285/35 if they made it in the tire I run.
Mine is 100% throttle/load dependent. No amount of fooling with the shifter (6-spd) changes its tone or consistency. Sounds very much like a connecting rod rattle from my experience. Many early Toyota 4 cylinders would exhibit a very similar noise when the rod bearings would get a lot of miles...
Not likely, no. Extended time with the bushings pre-loaded would definitely accelerate their wear but a short stint should be fine. Just be sure u get all the points loosened cause it’ll only take one to be an issue.
Be SURE and re-clock all the pivot point bushings now, definitely before your alignment.

I was under the impression the piston oil jets left before the 2nd gens came along..I know my 1st gen '11 had them but there was talk and even a bulletin or two addressing them back them.
Mine very much has the 2k rattle and at 4K miles it has basically no visible metal in the filter. The Ford shop foreman cut and inspected it with me standing there. Honestly I was surprised.
This is just not true. This issue as a whole has been blown out of proportion in the worst way. Have there been engines replaced, absolutely, but considering the number that have been produced vs. the number that this forum knows about the 'failures' are quite minimal. They are absolutely not...
