Pretty much this. I generally don't equate limited with anything special, just a lower production number and maybe a special paint code or something. Special editions are the ones that combine desirability, rareness, and a unique history that keeps the price high long term.
What I'd love: 510-520 crank HP with a sub 3500 curb weight.
If I could only have one, I'd take lower weight as it is easier on the components, and in my own experience, its easier to add power than drop weight and maintain drivability.
I've not yet owned a V8 RWD car, I think everything coming out of ChryCo is hideous, and I wont buy GM on principle. The Euro V8s are waaaaaaaaay out of my price range, and I don't know if Hyundai has any plans to stick their own 5.0 into the Gene Coupe and keep the price under 40k. The...

I had the SMGII gearbox on my M3. It has its ups and downs, but I very much enjoyed it. I could leave it in auto mode, turn down the shift speed, and cruise without thinking about it. With a quick tap on the shift lever or paddle shift, I could change it into DIY mode, crank up the shift...
Having owned everything except a V8...I don't foresee myself getting anything other than a V8. However, if the cost of the V8 is prohibitively expensive, I would be ok with a turbo 4. I've not owned a V8, but I do also miss at times having a turbo motor. From my own experience, you can make a...
