Okay I gotcha, yeah I'll have to try doing something else with the remote and seeing if that might fix it. I thought it was a battery/ alternator issue since my voltage while running sometimes goes as low as 12.1, that's with the amp and sub out of the car. With it in it went into the 11s sometimes

I did not, it happened with the old battery and the old system though. I honestly didn't know that there was a bms reset until recently, it's been a good bit since I put the new battery in, should I still go ahead and do the reset?
  11. Adding subwoofer caused mass misfire on all cylinders

It's possible, I've seen other people use the back up camera as a remote wire with no issues but I can't think of anything else that would be messing with the car like it was

Yeah, I'm not sure what was causing the problem. When I removed the amp from the car though the issues went away.

  16. Adding subwoofer caused mass misfire on all cylinders

I did have to replace the battery right before I put in the sub, But ive checked it a couple times to see what it was resting at and it seemed okay
  17. Adding subwoofer caused mass misfire on all cylinders

it was happening even with the audio off, just at random times. 4 gauge power and ground and the amp is a single channel 800watt rms
  18. Adding subwoofer caused mass misfire on all cylinders

I got you, would a capacitor make it to where I wouldn't need to upgrade the alternator?
