my 18 doesn't have it. regardless though, i think rear mudflaps are useless on this car. i don't have any chips whatsoever on the rear....but the fenders are peppered with chips from the front tires.

i daily mine and unless you push it, you don't even notice it. doesn't add any NVH. worth every penny.

i have a PP2 so it's not apples to apples with you, but i can say the steeda stop the hop starter kit was a significantly noticeable difference. really planted the rear on an already great setup.

stifflers isn't the big fish in the s550 platform but their stuff is top notch. and the guys who run it are fantastic. when i buy a loop, it will be theirs.
