I think the majority, if not all of those issues only relate to the early batch FM cars, and most problems were resolved by the MY17 or MY18 (FN), including relocating the Oil Cooler.

Yes it was an Appearance Package, with the same Tech Specs to the GT, and No, I am 99% sure the California Special, like the GT, hasn't got the Torsen Diff, although the US C/S and P.P GT have it. If it is stated and confirmed in the delivery paperwork, I will stand corrected.
