What I am wondering is how difficult would it be to swap the hardware and for what price. I am sure the new unit will be designed to fit all Fords lineup so should be an easy install.

I think that many people on this thread have a good argument, however, Economies of Scale and the supply and demand principle determine pricing. This means that in time, hopefully by late spring, these prices will be way down. For now though, the price for the horsepower is rather high.

Today I installed my lights and I will say that the Glove Box is a pain. I also blew the fuse when doing the trunk. Not sure how because I unplugged the connector... Anyways, I ended up removing the entire glove box switch. A: Because it ended up being easier B: I bent the contactor really bad...
