If you don't believe me look up a USED dodge dually anything with a manual and a Cummins or a ford f250 go test drive it and just come off the clutch. They will accelerate up to 60mph without you touching the gas...
bro it depends on the situation... I have literally done this in my Ae86 which had a 4age, my 3000gt, cable, 240sx with ka24, all my BMWs.
Any car will do it, some do it better than others it just depends on torque, how smoothly you engage the clutch and if you're on an incline...Or if the...
Bro... Every manual car does it... It's not a new thing. Cars with more torque will do it easier, and it works as long as you aren't on an incline.
It's actually the best way to teach new drivers clutch control, and how to figure out the engagement point on any car...
Engines stall because...
Its torque... Diesels would do it all the time. In fact a Cummins truck will accelearte from 0 -60 without you pressing the gas. Just engage gears. Because they make so much torque at idle
Lol they teach you that in racing school too.
But yes this will work in any car but it works really well with the s550,because we have v8 torque.
Some small 4cylinders will stall
I was talking about doing more track days not buying the GT500.
I prefer driving a 10k shit box on a race track. Thats cheap on tires. The 63k i save will buy way more track time. Plus I can drive the wheels off a shitbox and not give a fuck about totalling it.
I feel thats the mindset you...
Yeah thats what stops me...
Been talking to the wife about buying a cheap 350z or ae86 and gutting it just to use as a track machine.
I'm thinking an ae86 with a stock 2.3l ecoboost motor would be amazing on track and be reliable. Plus cheap 16in tires is alot of tire in a 2000lb car
Yeah thats exactly what happened to me!
I was gapping fools and running with a Camaro as all day. And bullying a corvette zr1.
Then the instructor came on track with his miata with intake and a catback, and embarrassed the hell out of me haha.
He stayed on my tail for 2 laps, I waved him by...
Still... A 200k track car has no business getting gapped by a 80k 4000lb street car on street tires haha
Id be seriously butthurt about that if I were the 911 owner ....
(Kinda like when I got gapped by a miata at Roebling... Lol)
What's the harm in that? Nothing wrong with young kids having something to hope for or look up to man. In many ways id love for my kids to watch sp and plan on buying themselves a gt500...
They'll discover the reality soon enough but having ambition and hope isn't a bad quality for young...
It's not a tune... Cars with no cats will crackle and backfire if you hop off the gas.
My bone stock s550 will do some small pops in sport + when diving aggressively. Can't wait to get headers for it :)
Funny story I grew up im the islands so we had cars direct from,Japan. Well back when i was...
Springs have a break in period so it would loosen up after a few miles.
He recommended body bexause people cry over NVH... I'm putting mine in this weekend it's going on the trans the way God intended
See I dont believe that. And that mindset has bread an entitled generation of people that fall apart the second reality hits them...
Besides his threat to not buy another ford means nothing to them... From,a purely business point of view which customer woupd ford rather retain the guy who buys...
