At this point its all speculation, assuming an approx 3800lbs for the GT350 +80lbs for trans, +80lbs for the SC & piping, +20lbs for wider wheels and rubber and some additional bits for the brakes etc...4000lbs approx...again, just guessing, not sure where the extra 100lbs comes from but you...
I just did a quick search and downloaded the PDFs for each of the transmissions so I doubt that would include flywheels, clutches or pressure plates etc...the 3160 PDF did list a weight reduced spec but unsure how that relates to the GT350???
Are you comparing trans weight between a PP1 Mustang GT A10 vs possible weight of the upcoming GT500 DCT, I'm curious to the weight difference between the GT350 manual trans and the new DCT from Tremec...manual trans vs DCT = weight of GT350 vs upcoming GT500...
...TR-3160 = 121lbs (tremec...
I feel this is a mistake on Fords part, I'm NOT saying that the GT500 should be solely focused on the Demon/quarter mile times but it has been said that even Chevy is also looking at offering a drag "option", lets focus on "option". I feel ford could, if they choose, offer a "Drag Pack" option...
There will be a Hybrid Mustang in 2020, however that mustang WON’T be the one BmacIL talked about. NA V8 Hybrid, a step up from the GT, but not a Ford Performance product as the GT500.
Farruko, is there ANYTHING, anything at all that you could add about "the one BmacIL talked about"...please...
^^^^^^^^^^^^^I always loved that render/sketch^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Also, the renderings remind me of my FoRS front end, which I LOVE!!! I think the blacked out center section makes it look mean as F*** like its ready to devour what ever comes it way!!!
I've been looking for ANY info on possible specs on a "Lebanon Ford" Blown option on a 18' 10 speed Mustang GT...if you found ANY info please provide link...:hail:...back to the topic at hand, Mach1 has always been associated specifically with Mustang, THAT better not change! JMHO
Actually the 03/04 Cobras where (under) rated at 390 HP, the vehicle that was listed at 380 HP was the 01-04 Lightnings as I have been lucky enough to have owned (gone but not forgotten!) an example of each but don't mind me as I'm just splitting hairs here...lol but based on that I could expect...
You read my mind, a voodoo in that thing would have been EPIC!!! European styling with an american FPC engine, hell yeah!!! The Pantera used one of Fords best (IMHO) engines ever, 351ci Cleveland, why not put the Voodoo in there??? Sorry, I digressed, back to the discussion at hand...
I did a google search for images of the 2019 GT500 and did find one with a more traditional wing that did look larger that the GT350 wing but I didn't know how to get that pic on here...
