He says he's running 325/30-19 Mickey Thompson ET Street SS. Can anyone recognize
the 19" wheels? They kinda look like SVE S350, but those aren't supposed to fit. Best
shot is around the 32 sec. frame.
I think you're looking at the wrong connector. The tranny connector is literally under the strut tower brace and has the white locking lever in the top center of the picture. To the side and below the JLT catchcan.
Photos were in posts in this forum (GT500). I tried a search but came up empty. I recall filters shaped like an hour glass - clearly did not have the metal support inside.
My car was built in March 2020 and this is the construction of the filter that came out of it. I'm wondering if those collapsed filters posted last year were 350 filters that Ford put in by mistake or because they were out of FL-2087.
I was not very happy with the way the car drove around town and it took several months
to figure out why. Being of social security age, I was slow to experiment with the Mode settings.
Changing to Sport made a huge difference for me (in town). I'm not really into loud exhausts
and to keep peace...
If you use Sport Mode is there less noise? In Normal Mode, mine short shifts to 3rd gear so soon that the engine is lugging and rattles the whole drive train. If this is the case with you, program your My Mode to Sport to avoid Normal.
When all the excitement of getting your car slows down, if you still have the Modern Spare kit,
check out the fitment & see if what they sent you comes close to working . I'm still wondering if the right spacer would make that spare work.
I'm going to seriously consider this old school kit:

The description even mentions the annoying factory menu. Looks like a very complete
kit & a decent price.
Made my first trip to the drag strip last weekend. For an old dude used to toggle switching the line locks, using the app menu was a disaster. Ended up turning off the traction control, doing burn-out & turning TC back on.
I was thinking it would be great if one could "hot wire" the line locks...
Does it do it in Sport Mode? In Normal Mode mine short shifts to 3rd gear so soon that the engine is lugging and rattles the drivetrain when driving 25 mph zones in town. I was not very happy with my 500 until I set My Mode to Sport. Normal should be called Econo. A Facebook buddy took a dealer...
I really wanted this to work out and was going to put in an order the minute someone gave the OK. I had looked for spare wheel/tire combinations sized to fit in the tire well, but never found a 19" or 20" that would fit. I never considered an 18" wheel. Not sure how difficult it would be to have...
I'm bummed! Checked Modern Spare's website and delivery date has be pushed
back to June 22nd. As soon as you guys got your orders filled and gave it a thumbs
up, I was gonna go for it.
Have you seen the Fumoto F107SX drain valve? It's been about a year since anyone on this board mentioned them. I installed one last week with my first oil change.
Very sure it's the fuel pump. Usually runs to pressure up the system in response to a cue such as opening a door. However, there are times that it seem to do it "out of the blue".
Might explain why the battery get low in a week or two, if you don't have it on a maintainer.
