I believe that was the announcement about the "open source" api's for the computer so that 3rd party vendors could create their own apps that read the car's data.
Don't know if I've missed this discussion elsewhere, but it looks like the non-GT's have 2 different lower grills. The white one has honeycomb, where all the rest have plain grills with slots in the middle.
I know that the EB will have auto shutters that open and close for better aero...
Even though I like manuals better and my wife has no problems with them, this car is going to be a cruiser for me. I will never really drive it to its limits. Plus, these new autos probably shift better than I can. So, it will be an auto for me.
the "10,000 mile oil change" is very interesting to me. The Ti-VCT runs on oil pressure. I would think they would be encouraging people to keep their oil changed...
What allows them to be able to be able to go longer between changes?
Ya, still too soon. the marketing needs to be red hot when they bring the car out. If you start now, how do you keep the interest hot, (without wearing it out) by fall?
I don't see any liability issues. It's not like the apps are going to control the car or the way it runs. It sounds like all they are getting is "read access" to all the information the car produces.
Hmmm... I wonder if Chevy just one-upped Ford?

For those of us that have been around for multiple decades, we have seen lots of atrocities mascarading as "customization". I guess every generation needs to be able to look back and say "what were we thinking?"
I'm sorry, but the majority of these are like someone putting Ketchup on a meal a chef just took hours to prepare.
I'm sure the designers, who spent years agonizing over every line and curve feel the same way about someone slapping a bunch of crap on them.
