Aside from the PITA granny gear, the .373's pull harder when buzzing around, that's what I like about them. I've learned to throw it in second quicker after getting it rolling. You can also just start in second gear as long as you're not on an incline. It'll wear your clutch a little more but...
Will cost a lot more. Why not just buy the PP? The stiffness of the PP, the brakes, the bigger radiator, and the torsen rear end alone are worth way more than $2500. Not including all the other parts you get with it.
No, but the world has more than just 0-60. In and out of corners the stick is superior. The Ford Tranny won't even stay in the gear you want with the paddles. Ford should have a floor +- shifter. The paddle are useless when they won't stay in the gear you choose. Also, have you felt how...
Have you driven a non-PP GT and felt the body flex when hitting a pot-hole? The PP upper and lower bracing is awesome. Let some air out of your tires. :)
My GT PP is a daily driver. It's not ideal as a DD but it works. Traffic kind of sucks with the stick but this car performs way better with the stick. The Ford Auto is not a performance tranny at all.
Mine are a 10.5 inch stripe kit with a 2 inch gap. Next time I'll go with an 8 inch stripe and keep the 2 inch gap. The kit called for a 1 inch gap so had to customize the tail a bit, but it was easy to trim before you lay them down.
You should have had a purchase agreement with all the numbers on it. Are you saying you never got that, or are you saying you gave them a deposit not knowing the final price? If they aren't honoring the original agreement in writing then tell them to pound salt and let us know what the shady...
My dealer gives 3 free oil changes the first year. Already had one at 2,000 miles. Will get another one in a couple months at 5,000 and my last free one right before the year mark in December.
Agree. I've owned GTI's and they are incredible cars, and tune nicely...but front wheel drive so they spin like crazy off the line and cornering under throttle can be unmanageable. The BRZ is nice but too small and Subaru has already said many times they throw minimal money at development...
