I didn’t initially notice it the last few times that I took the car out. However, after reading these observations, I did take her out for a spin. I agree that the rev match is more of a blip as opposed to having RPMs just hanging. I couldn’t tell you the actual amount of hang, but enough to be...
I completely agree. There is nothing conventional that is available that will compete with Magnaride. However, a PP1 car with Magnaride can be upgraded to match the PP2 with The Ford Performance upgraded sway bars and Performance Magnaride Tune.
There is nothing out there to match the...
Last summer I traded in my 15 PP1 GT for a 19 PP2 GT. IMHO it was absolutely worth it! My 15 had less than 40k miles on the odometer and I was able to trade in with positive equity and get a good price for my 19. I cannot speak for the fully optioned cars, since I had a base model PP1 and this...
Took my time with the install. Lining up the snorkel was a challenge, but I was able to reach my hand in there and line it up. Wrestling the intake on the throttle body was a PITA, but I was able to get it pretty close putting my body weight into it as I was ratcheting down on the hose clamp...
Ok, I'm feeling like a total dummy here, but were do I find the download link for the software needed for my PC? I cannot find it under in the download navigation page on the ford performance parts website. Either I am blind, or it is missing....
Do you have issues of the nGuage freezing up because of the air conditioner? I had my gauge set in there, without the mount and the damn thing would lock up or just die with a blank screen. Would always come back when I am not using AC. I’m interested in your thoughts and hopefully this mount...
I'm not quite sure, but I know that the current regional value of my 19' GT PP2 is around $27k and I have 6k miles on the odometer. I traded in my 15 PP1 with abt 40k miles on the odo for $22k when I had about 15k left on the car note. Just to give you an idea for your car. KBB is a...
No. The clutch spring helps with clutch effort. Any mods that can stiffen up the shifter assembly will provide the greatest benefit. There are lots of options... many love the MGW set-up, but it is a large investment. I wanted to stick as close to oem as possible and upgrade with Ford...
I had the same the same experience shifting as you had with my 15 GT PP1... what ultimately solved the issue for me was the combination of the Steeda clutch pedal spring, Ford Performance Short shift kit, Steeda transmission bushing and Steeda base bushing bracket kit. Problem solved! Had...
Agreed! On my lowered 15 PP, that stow and go scraped so much that the removal pin was grounded to a nonfictional nub. Had to remove the mounting fasteners to take the thing off at car shows. Definitely a sacrificial lamb to keep from putting holes in the bumper!
