Awesome! When are you going to do the install? Are you going to run the canned tune or going to have a custom tune done. I'm looking at getting a custom tune. I'd like to get close to that 650 RWHP mark.
I had the same issue when I put a cam in my last car. I took it back to my tuner when my engine light came on and he wrote that DTC out of the cars program. I also got rid of my factory cats just because they don't flow that great anyway.
I've been told that my SC is in the build que this week. Hope it gets here soon. All my other parts won't be here till April some time. The suspense is killing me. Lol
What all are you doing to your car? Where'd you order your blower from? I ordered mine from MAK Performance. The price was good with the polished head unit and helical gears.
I got solid rear diff to subframe and subframe to body bushings. I also got some beefier half shafts from FRPP. I really hope that helps out. It worked pretty good on my 5th gen SS Camaro.
I just ordered the stage II kit from Procharger and resonator delete x pipe plus a laundry list of goodies to fix the wheel hop. I can't wait for it all to get here!
Just ordered one of those fancy electric superchargers. Jk. Just ordered a procharger stageII kit from MAK. I also ordered a bunch of stuff to help get rid of the wicked wheel hop. Can't wait for my new toys to get here!
Does anyone have dyno graphs with HP any TQ for Whipple, Procharger, and Vortech? It would be cool to be able to see what all the numbers are compare the numbers and look at the torque curves of each supercharger with the manufacturers tune.
I mean no disrespect and appreciate your input but what does this have to do with daily driven cars. The point of this thread was to get advice on what methods and amounts of boost are safe and drive able in everyday driving situations. Not 6 grand hole shots from every stoplight and NMRA...
So I've noticed that everyone is talking about belt driven induction. What about exhaust driven induction. What are the pros and cons of putting a set of twins under the hood of your daily driver?
