39, make about $50K plus excellent benefits working in IT for a school district. Ordered a $42K GT/PP with a 72 month loan at 2.3%.
Like another poster said, you can't take it with you and the world is a very unstable place these days.
Enjoy it while you got it!
Nice! Happy for someone at least to get their new pile. Wish mine would start at least before the end of the next week. If not, I hope they start it in April.
Tim...you nailed it. I'm not canceling my order but if it doesn't blow me away I won't take delivery. I'd rather just finish my Fox body and be done with it. Even at only 400 HP that car is so fun to drive. With 550 HP...I can't imagine.
Truthfully, I've lost all excitement about this car. From the late delivery to the underwhelming performance. I'm ready to finish my Fox and make it a beast!
Please chime in. Mine was ordered on June 20th as dealer stock and it's still "In Order Processing" on Ford Cotus. I've had a VIN for several weeks now.
I wouldn't change them. Just learn how to drive the car with the added power. My wife drives a 400 RWHP SN95 with 4.10's just fine.
Myself, I drive a 700 FTLB Fox body with 3.73's. It's all about learning your car. IMO, that's the fun part of adding HP.
Maybe for you, but for me...at some point...probably after about 250 miles spun, I'll want more performance! Just saying. For hardcore drivers like myself; street, strip and now track...it's never enough and there's always room for more improvement in performance. However, for $2000+, it...
No need to guess anymore. Defintely disappointed.

Just got my test drive scheduled for September 27th. I'm in Buffalo, NY. I'm hoping to take delivery of my dealer stock ordered unit of which I already have a VIN for before then...but I'll still beat on the demo unit, why not!
