Exactly. you want to like it so you convince yourself it doesn't look that bad.
But then you catch that picture and those weird angles make you go
The front aside. I think a lot of the other updates are right on.
Now let's see the Convertible, GT500 and any special edition cars.
I agree I would have liked more 350 cues too... Glad I have one.:D
I don't love the front. The sharp angles forming all the awkward triangles. The nose over hangs too much to my eye. Maybe that is why I like black. It hides some of the out of place angles to me.
But as a whole I think...
Liking it more... pro shots and new colors are making a huge difference.
Still on the fence with that front. The new angular designs on the refresh still conflict with the original parts of the car that remain unchanged. Curves and angles being forced together. It looks awkward.
Let's see...
Maybe Ford anticipated the negative reactions and are down playing this refresh. It's too late to call it off so they are laying low.
There is already a ton of negative chatter on the refresh out there.
Looks much better than the original leaked video but I still do not love it. Hopefully it grows on me.
The new digital gauges look good.
I would not however trade in a one or two year old S550 for this refresh.
Let's see what the performance changes are. Should be minimal at best...
Ford needs to release some pro shots of the car ASAP. I'm betting it will look a lot better.
This angle shows what a dramatic difference these changes made to the entire look of the car. Ford totally killed the vibe and flow of the original design.
I am guessing this is a small peak into the...
Did Ford do any focus groups on this refresh... seriously doubt it. I know they did when they were designing the S550.
16 out of 182 voted that the like this refresh. Just barely 9%.
Ford are you listening?
Damn Ford... was this really the best you could do?
the tweaks look out of place with this refresh.
Each part of the car in the original design for the 2015 S550 was purposeful towards the entire design language of the car. These changes look like the were forced into the design and just do...
I traded my 15 GT PP for the GT350.
The 350 feels like an entirely different animal compared to the stock PP GT. There is no question the GT350 feels more performance orientated in comparison. It's a different kind of feel with the FPC engine. The car pulls and pulls with a 8200 RPM. The car...
I hear ya!
Doesn't exactly scream assurance with the recall in place.
I'm thinking of driving cross country to Vegas in Feb.
Hope this isn't a premonition. lol
Going South I could have a snow free trip if I leave the East coast on a clear week. Weather should be a bit warmer further South as well.
Nothing in stone but it would look something like this.
Just thought about the recall on the car. I totally forgot about that.
Is that another con for this trip?
Everyone seems to be driving their cars without any worry.
I'm not sure FORD will have the fix ready to go before I bail out of here.
