Thanks Jason, saved me the trouble of having to try and weight these. FedEx is showing "On truck out for delivery". I'm driving my wife insane, jumping up and going to the front door every time I hear a truck drive by the house.
Yeah, I was originally going to go with a 295/35 in the rear but change to a 285/35 for a couple reasons. The Michelin PSS tend to run wider than other manufactures, therefore a Michelin PSS 285/35 will fit very similar to say a Pirelli P Zero 295/35. The other reason is about $100 difference...
Interesting. I just looked at this on their website. Looks fairly simple to put in and doesn't cost much. So are you saying it helps out with the Notchy-ness of the 1st - 2nd - 3rd shifts?
Model: GT PP
Miles: 450
Temps: 45-55°
Grinds: none
Thuds: none
Very Notchy: 1>2>3 Only when it's cold, so I don't force it into gear, I gently put it in gear. I imagine if I forced it I would get a thud. Once it warms up it's fine and the notchy-ness goes away.... wait, is notch-ness even a word?
Yours looks very close to mine. Look at my print out earlier in this thread. I'm in the same boat as you, I'm still trying to understand but it's starting to make a little sense. I think for everyday drivers like us our setup is OK, I HOPE! :)
My goal is a stable car when driven...
