Yes! Iām surprised this isnāt talked about more. I canāt stand that chunky looking center of the steering wheel on the new s650. It looks lazy, like hey we have all these extra pieces already letās just change the pony and call it a day
Iāve only experienced something like that when in reverse going back into drive up my driveway. Itās like it takes the transmission a second to get back into gear. Also does that at low speeds in sport mode but the transmission is still breaking in for me
S550 vs s650 designs aside, I think the availability/markup and the ability to tune will make a big impact to how the new mustang sells. No doubt the first year will sell out because itās the next big thing but we will just have to see after the dust settles.
I got a chance to see Brittany blue in person and it was beautiful! Had it not been on a ecoboost I might have snatched it up. Wasnāt expecting to like the color as much as I did
I feel like a lot of people wanted the shaker hood (which I know there is a mod for) but it wouldāve really set the car apart had it been unique for it from the factory
I love the interior of the California special. I almost picked up a used one awhile back. That being said, the Mach is great IMO, itās the culmination of all the years of the s550 (magnaride, tremec, digital dash, Shelby suspension components, spoiler, coolers, etc)
Iām kind of glad this car is being slept on. It was to my benefit that I got a good discount on it in 2023 where everything is sold at or above msrp.
It sounds like youāve found your dream ride! I would say then just find some discounted examples (some in DFW Texas) to argue for some sort of discount off msrp.
You should be able to get more off that Mach 1. At least $1500 off, I know because I bought one last month almost like that (minus the upgraded wheels) the discounts are higher on 22s if you can find them. When I inquired about a grabber blue I was told the discount was smaller since it was a 23.
Iām not a market expert but I would say mid to high 30s. The thing is if you are ok with not having a unique chassis number you can pick up a loaded pp1 and add the wheels and splitter. That waters down the value imo
I havenāt seen any major things on mine (granted itās still in break in period) I only get hesitation and some jerking when in sport mode. The car will almost feel like itās in neutral before it catches a gear. Might just be learning or it may be low on fluid
