WTF checked ever bolt and hanger connection and the exhaust is okay within 1/4 inch clearance. Still when she's warm and lugging I get a rattle.
I may have to take it to my muffler guy to see what's up.
I'm wondering if the baffle in the Mach xv comes loose under warm up.
I do have Kooks...
I went from the Pirelli's to Continental DWS06, hated the soft side walls.
I now have the MPSS and they are worth every penny, I feel so much secure now in the corners. Only tire I will use going forward!
I have 9300 miles on the car now so you can see I did not like the other tires...
The Pirelli's sucked so I took them off right away.
Put Continental DWS06 on for 1400 miles. The side wall was too soft and I felt unsecure in the corners.
I now have the Michelin Pilot Super Sports and the car handling is amazing. :D
When the pipes are cold no rattle no nothing but after they hot the rattle is in the back.
I'm too have checked tightness and clearances and not sure what's up.
Solo hope you an have answer? Love the sound hate the rattle, really cheapens the car. :(
The sound is your first stop.
Look at the Solo Mach XV cat back exhaust, it bolts right up.
I went with the x pipe first then later the XV, should of done that first.
Have fun! Awesome car!
Went with Kooks because of their quality.
The shop I had install it said that the fit was perfect.
Bough the Solo Mach XV at the same time. Power and sound is awesome!
Got an awesome price from at Brandon at Maryland Speed!
I'm sure you will get yours sooner than mine.
I think production was slower when I ordered mine.
Ordered March 20th and was at the dealer June 19th.
1 thing the factory did was pulled it after it was built and put a hundred miles on it for additional quality checks.
Mine makes me smile...
This video has not much merit especially from Subaru who has had a notorious problem with bad head gaskets. They even have a coolant additive to help with their head gasket problems.
Not much merit here like the WRX I smoked the other day. :ford:
