I thought that was called an Air Dam, but I wasn't sure. I knew they were going to put one on the ecoboost that was designed to help with fuel economy, but I just don't want it to be that visible. Any reason this one is so pronounced? Just the photos or perhaps a pre-production version?
Loving the pictures! Thank you for sharing.
Side note: Anyone notice how low, and perhaps obvious, that black plastic flap is below the front diffuser? I know they showed a video about the three different ones that the different variants of the Mustang will get, but this one is too...
The first time I saw the car in person was at the Washington D.C. auto show. I was struck by the car's presence. It really is a leap over the current car. I wouldn't say it was a night and day difference from the many pictures I have seen, but it does look better in person. I was annoyed...
Sorry about that. I was typing my post before I saw yours. No disrespect to the original photos. They are amazing. I just like seeing the wheel alternatives.
To add to the photoshop requests, I would love to see one of the beautiful Ruby Red pics with the optional 20" wheels. I'm referring to the ones on the DIB car at the auction. I feel like those would go nicely, and I would love to see them shopped on there if someone cares to do it.
OOOH MY! Those new pics of Ruby Red are gorgeous! I was sort of set on Deep Impact Blue, but I think I have changed my mind. I also agree that this color actually works really well with the black wheels. Though I still prefer the aluminum five spokes that are on many of the DIB pictures.
My only concern is that the auto will be sluggish, especially with paddle response. I've heard some cars can pull off the paddle thing well even without a dual clutch (new Mazda 3), but I have my doubts about the auto in the Mustang. The fact that it is basically the same transmission makes me...
I like SVO or something Turbo. GT Turbo may not fit, but I think some kind of Turbo badge could be cool. I like SVO for the heritage, but it may not be appropriate for this particular version. Maybe if they made a hi-po I4. I definitely hope there are no ecoboost badges anywhere. Not even...
I really like the new exterior styling, the improved stance, and the more modern look. I also like that it looks like they improved the interior. I really like that it is still muscular but also sleek at the same time. The look is very sharp to me.
Another detail that I like is how they...
Well that settles it. Put it in Need for Speed and you don't need specs at all, lol. That is sort of a bummer. I can't wait to race it in Forza. Plus it will be fun to look around it in all its detail using the "Forzavista" thing. It will also be a fun and relatively easy tool to do...
That is a good point. Well my money is definitely on GT6 then. Though if the car doesn't have real stats then I sort of wonder what the point of driving it in a sim game is except to admire the way it looks. That is as good a reason as any I suppose.
I would love to drive it in Forza!!! Unfortunately the water on the car rules out Forza because they have yet to put any weather effects into the game. Though does GT6 have beads of water on the car like that?
Also I sort of doubt that it will be either of those sim games as they display...
Ford is going to give me a heart attack with all of this Mustang news! They sure know how to keep the buzz going. I never thought December 5th would ever get here.
I don't think weight is a deal breaker for me. However, how it feels in the turns definitely is. I don't expect it be like a Miata or BRZ, but if it doesn't feel noticeably better than the outgoing model then that may be a deal breaker. The weight may or may not be a major indicator. I still...
