Got a wrench light, car lose power to almost none, paddle shifts went delayed on timing and then the engine light. Pulled over and called tow truck. Wrench went away. Saw a battery light for a little bit.
Got to the dealer and all lights were gone. Was able to drive home with zero issues...
I would only go with Ford to cover Ford. The little savings not worth the trouble. Ford has a rep on the line. Those aftermarket ones are just free money to them.
I have H pipe, lund tune, and JLT. No plans for anything more. If the tune screws me, then ext. warranty is null anyways. My Shelby tech says any future issues and I have to take tune off before he looks at it.

Damn! The 50 available sets on the Shelby site sold out in an hour yesterday. I'm too slow. I'm still rocking the 350 mats in memory of. I know the 500 mats add about 5HP, so will keep trying.

I have thoughts on this, but not a pro. I don't think putting the stock tune in custom is good idea. But, I might be wrong. I emailed PB on several questions and they were very helpful.
The new tune folks would need your current tune folder. Same as when the last tuners needed your stock...
