ATM has a larger stepped core design. I have been watching their thread and their end tank design is pretty good for equal distribution but it is still a larger core that takes more to fill. It is middle ground between MAP and MMR or FFTEC. I did some number crunching a while back and I think I...
Differences between all of them come down to the size of the core. Size directly effects pressure drop and max flow. Larger the core the more it will flow however you will have a larger pressure drop. Pressure drop to the untrained eye will look or feel like lag as it takes the turbo more time...
I guess that makes sense as a 450LPH pump should be able to push enough fuel on 6 injectors to fuel up to about 750whp ish. But if you get bored with that, double up on the pumps and push for 1000!
More to compete with the Golf R, the possibility of an SRT-4 Dodge Dart that was rumored to have AWD, and the next possible Mazdaspeed3 which might have AWD.
Those of you who are familiar with the Mazdaspeed platform know these very well. As I come from that platform I decided to email Bryan to see if he had anything in the works. He told me that he has a factory turbo on its' way and will play with it and see what he can do. This has me excited...
Changing cams on these motors is not a small job. You need special timing tools the is a plate and a pin to properly set the timing of the new motor. Pretty sure these are still friction washers for the timing pulleys so those bolts and washers have to be replaced. Somebody experienced could...
Without bore or stroke this motor should be able to put out 700whp+, just need beefy forged internals and a big big big turbo. Fully built with more fuel on E30 ish should bump into that area with a 6466
That one is threaded, there are some barbed stuff available just haven't had time to search all of them for one that is oil resistant and holds over 30 psi with a low opening pressure
Does anybody have some sound clips of the MAP catback without resonators? I have been through all the MAP videos but don't hear any of the popping/cracking they say happens with the non resonated option.
Probably something along these lines

I live in Canada so not sure best place to get stuff like this in the USA
Edit changed link to possibly better suited valve.
Just measure the size of line they use and get a check valve that matches, cut the line and install with worm hose clamps if necessary and make sure the check valve is orientated to stop the flow of boost from the intake manifold to stop it entering the catch can.
Well if I can suggest something, when designing the catch can you please put a nice check valve in the line coming from the PCV so that the stock one can be gutted or even removed with a different PCV baffle plate. This should help increase vacuum in the crank case.
