I've been doing Optimum No Rinse washes in the comfort of my own garage since taking delivery... think I'm at at least 6 washes now. There were some existing swirls from the first dealer wash, I can't see that it's gotten any worse. Other posters are right - no scrubbing just wipe in a single...
I just bought the cheap 1650 PSI electric deal from Harbor Freight because the only thing I was going to do with it was power wash the car, anything more powerful was overkill. And it works perfectly with the foam cannon. This is a pic I snapped a couple years ago while washing my old 328i: (the...
Wow, those wheels look legit on that car. I've always liked the Roush 20s. A mild drop and it would be perfect.
This was my first American car as well. Not too shabby!
Perfect, I have like 25 hours of travel to Australia on Wednesday so I can look forward to a video when I land  (kidding of course, whenever you get the chance... sadly I think you will beat Borla who teased their GT video a month ago.... grab a gopro guys... jeez)
I use it, helps save wear on the seat bolster. I have found that sometimes it has a mind of its own and doesn't like to bring the seat forward after starting, though.
Mine came in early April (3/17 build) and I had the following before delivery:
Front bumper was deformed from the factory. Dealer swapped with a good bumper from a retail stock car at my request.
A small fender ding that was fixed by the dealer before delivery
Pen-tip-sized paint chip on the...
My non PP GT just started doing this. After the car has been sitting overnight, the upon the first start of the day the brake pedal is hard as a rock. It's fine after start. I had a BMW 335i that had this exact same problem and it was a problem with the check valve on the brake booster...
I don't think anyone is saying these transmissions are grenading themselves left and right (though I like that you and Asharus have come together and decided that this is what I was saying, which I wasn't). Clunkiness, notchiness, and grinding are common issues. Hell, the one I test drove was...
Come on, that's overly dramatic. I'm glad yours is fine, but you can't ignore the huge amount of evidence to the contrary within the Transmission & Drivetrain subforum. A lot of people are having legitimate problems.
Then there are people like myself who weren't willing to roll the dice on a...
Seriously though, I thought the same thing coming from a car with 240hp to this, with 435hp... and guess what, I want more power. What the hell is wrong with me. DOES IT EVER END?
Edit: actual thread contribution: installed the BlackVue dual channel dashcam. No pics because... it's a dash...
Just out of curiosity, is there a reason you needed to use customer service for car polish? Some sort of problem?
I've never heard of Adams products until on this forum (my last car was leased so I was out of the game for a while) but it seems to be pretty popular here. I'm pretty sure MVP is...
If I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing, which is that olive drab primer color, then yeah, that's not right. The good thing though, if there is a problem, non-metallic black is super easy to paint match so it should be easy to get it looking right.
I don't want to deal with snow but pictures like this really make me want to move from Florida. Absolutely nothing to see here at all. That is magnificent. :eyebulge:
