They offer probably one of the best turbo options for FiST without going crazy and building blocks. Adam doesn't stock them but he does order in lots from them and he deals with the cores and sending them back. Not sure why he doesn't list them for the Mustang as well though as it would a good...
Get an inline water filtration system for the hose you use to wash. Don't wash in high heat, use good quality microfibers to dry the car (your leaf blower is just sandblasting the car because it has no filter). Clay bar with lots of lube can help to remove some deposits but if they are really...
One thing to keep in mind the montune is tube and fin rather than everybody else who uses bar and plate. Tube and fin is the same core style as the factory IC. I believe the main difference being bar and plate will allow for more airflow but takes slightly longer to shed heat. I personally would...
So looks like ETS has finished their catback. Sounds pretty good to me, anybody on here know somebody with it or who has it?

They do offer a mid muffler version for those who don't like the pop and want less noise.
As far as I can tell every post in that thread says the Forscan only turns of the fake engine noise which is a different system from the Active Noise Cancellation.....
Just picked up my ecoboost a couple weeks ago, mods are coming slowly but surely! You guys need to add a bright orange color, I would rock the hell out of that!
I have been pouring over all the catbacks for the last 3 weeks and still keep coming back to the Cobb as the best sounding. Would be awesome to get some feedback on it from people who have one.
A bit of white smoke on startup is normal, condensation and what not burning off. When your turbo smokes it will have a bluish tinge and happens during time of idle. Sometimes it take 1+ minute of idle time, if really bad 15 seconds of idle time. Blue smoke will go away once you start driving...
Oil is getting into the exhaust is where the smoke is coming from, it appears there is no real conclusion as to where it comes from but my bet is turbo oil seal. There have been reports of completely stock cars having a smoking issue. Typically once airflow through the turbo is increased (mostly...
The stock PCV is very small and restrictive not allowing for much airflow. Vacuum airflow is required at idle to be able to suck out the positive crank case pressure that causes the smokey turbo.
Hate to burst peoples bubbles but this will probably sound different than the mazdaspeeds due to they have a very unequal length exhaust manifold that gives them the subaru like burble. Due the the "headifold" on these my bets are on them sounding similar to FiST or FoST.
This is happening to pretty much anybody, guys who are completely stock, guys who have catless DPs, you name the combo pretty sure somebody in this thread has gotten smokey.
