I would wager that the upcoming '17 1LE 1.5SS will be a $6K premium on the 1SS price point of $38K which on the outgoing model it was a $3.5K premium off the 1SS. The optional PDR is not included in my forecast. $1.
I'm honestly interested in what performance the GT350 is capable off and how you guys like your cars. Will I buy a mustang, probably not but that doesn't stop me from appreciating them for what makes them different and fast.
I grew up in a primarily GM household but my cousin who lived down the...
Al has repeatedly said that they set their sights upon the cars like the GT3's of the world so even if they fall short they would still raise the expectation of what they are capable of delivering.
Yes. I'm a gear head and general all around car enthusiast but I do have my biases to what I'm...
1LE is targeted to be the equivalent to the base GT350 in performance.
Z/28 is targeted to be the GT350R equivalent in performance.
Now all of what I just stated is my thoughts and not to be considered fact in any way.
The 1LE was always billed as the 80 percentile baby Z/28 performance wise at...
This is what I was alluding to by saying Ford has done away with the low hanging fruit that Chevy may have targeted with the 1LE against the base or tech pack GT350.

Ford has made some adjustments for '17 so the target is not complacent and in fact has improved.
Lick our wounds, enjoy what we have to make the best of it and pray for a speedy update.
Getting beat or loosing is not the worst thing in the world, not being in the game to compete is.
I'm here to discuss, learn, and enjoy being an enthusiast. I will not be drawn into a pissing match on subjective things and not be labeled argumentative or combative just for posting an alternative point of few and I don't go around calling folks names because I may not agree with you on...
DSSV shocks from Multimatic, Carbon brakes, unique lightweighting with non standard glass, and whole lot of other things done to make this car perform and be consistent on the track adds up. It was expensive and I didn't mind it but yes I would selfishly say I wanted it to be more affordable...
GM's goal was not for sales dominance but instead an exercise in engineering to show what the car guys could achieve with a heavy sedan chassis and make it a world beater track focused car that was not targeted to the daily driver or average consumer.
Mr. Mark Stielow who was the lead engineer...
Just wanted to post this here about NCM HPDE with a great group of guys over at JustTrackit who will be putting on a 2 day event in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
