Time for a fresh discussion.
The fastest car I ever drove was a 2012 mustang GT convertible with just a little over 400hp. This will be my first true high performance vehicle.
What is this thing going to feel like?
Is it going to be like a wave of torque or is it going to be more violent?
Is...
I'm purely speculating here, but Ford launched the official 2020 Mustang site today and the GT500 is featured on it. Under the engine overviews, if you click on GT500 you are presented with the following information:
Now my question . . . why not just put 760hp?
We had to put up with that...
For those of you interested in an aftermarket side splitter for your base 2020 GT500, I contacted “ZL1 add-ons” to get some more information. They make these for the GT350 for now.
Im not sure I would get these, but the price is certainly better than the Handling Package (less the gurney flap)...
Ok. I know they are only making 5000 of these things, and they are all going to be sold, so there really isn’t a need for marketing. However, does anyone have some thoughts on why Ford hasn’t released an online visualizer or a feature rich webpage?
They have a beautiful site for the Ford GT...
I know Ford really doesn’t need to market the GT500, given that there are only making 5000 of them and they will all be sold, but what do you think the final 0-60 acceleration time will be?
Does 3.5s sound right, or will the final number being closer to 3.0s flat?
