I'm hoping that they will. All this marketing is for naught if you can't deliver enough of the product. Why invite BMW, Porsche, etc. clubs to the test drive events if you aren't planning enough product to supply even your loyal base(Ford/Mustang fans)? I understand that the R will be more...
I recall reading that the R was required to run near top performance on a track for 24 hours straight only stopping for fuel/tire/driver changes. If something broke, they went back to the drawing board.
I'm dealing with the same issue. Dealership has the allocation for an R but isn't sure how they want to handle. I'm not in their face all the time but I remind them that I am here. Hopefully being a current customer will ultimately secure my spot.

I was told I could order a GT350 with no problem. It was only when I insisted on the 'R' that I was told the owner is interested. I'm heading to the dealership tomorrow to see if I can get some more insight.
SO, if the dealer does get a late allocation, you can't place an order? What happens then, they just get a random build?
Any suggestions on finding a dealership with an unsold GT350R? I get the feeling I've been screwed. :headbonk:
Thanks.
