  1. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

Nice write up! And I agree all around. I found this to be the same way with my turbo’d 3v as far as going from ā€˜asleep to awake’ and not having an electric boost by gear it wasn’t always friendly in the turns.
  2. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

I would agree with this statement. My 2011 Mustang gt with a Roush ~low 600hp, had that punch but like you said, spinning is fun until it isn’t. I knew I wanted a centri this time around for the extra top end feel (my 3v with a Paxton felt really good), but knowing that Whipple has their 3.0L...
  3. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

No no no. I wouldn’t remove the Procharger because of gas mileage, it was because of all of issues/road blocks I’ve encountered.
  4. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

So, a bit has changed since I wrote this post. Mike and I both agreed to lock the CMCV's and relog. I already pulled manifold and installed my lockouts, loaded his latest tune and it was still rocky. But since I am back with the CMCV's locked I uploaded my previous PBD tune and all my complaints...
  5. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

Oh shoot, I've been saying it wrong for years! Lol. Thank you. Sounds good. So I decided to try a company who tuned my 2011 Roush Mustang to the TEE and gambled since they usually focus on PD blowers. Yep, VMP. Mike over there is the guy helping me out. I wanted my CMVC's working to get some...
  6. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

I don’t want to roast anyone, but I am hearing more and more about Wengerd.
  7. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

    who’s your tuner?
  8. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

I'm not saying anyone's wrong about keeping them or removing them, I just went based on the tuners recommendations. Needless to say, I asked if I can lock them out again, which he agreed. So we'll see.
  9. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

This was already relayed to the tuner before we started the whole process. Appreciate your write up though. And I originally locked them in the past but this time around I actually wanted them intact for mileage and cleaner drivability (tuner agreed); but that’s not happening! Haha. So he has...
  10. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

I’m experiencing a lot of bucking. Having great customer service but still the problem persists. MAF has been moved into a 10ā€ tube.
  11. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

Appreciate the update and the sense of ease. I glad these cars can run well; id say for the most part my first tuner did well but upped and moved (you may guess) while we were still in the logging process. The newest one… well, they recommend I reverted back to functioning IMRCs and the process...
  12. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

Oh, interesting! What made you change? So you had a P1X?.. what made you chose Wengerd Performance vs Lund again? Go ahead and IM me if it’s sensitive info. So my car bucks with and without CC set, and even with a slight load; it almost feels like the throttle is applied then taken off...
  13. Should I ditch my P1X for Whipple/VMP?..

Hi all, I have a manual 2015 Mustang GT with a H.O. stage 2 P1X kit and the parts below: 3.6ā€ pulley - 11psi 2018+ intake manifold Tial Q 50mm bov MAF relocation w/straightener FIC1000s DW 415lph w/Procharger BAP Kooks catted long tubes Kooks 3ā€ full exhaust Boundry oil/timing chain gear...
  14. Rob Shoemaker leaves PBD

I was in the same boat. Sent him a couple logs and nothing... I just heard from others that he left. I just had to bite the bullet and go with another company for tuning.
  15. Getting the itch again.

Oh Vr4’s, I had three 3000GT’s - love and hate relationship with those 6G72DETTs.
  16. Getting the itch again.

I'm shooting for that 700 figure as well, so I know the struggle... And you're right, it isn't a cheap hobby.
  17. Getting the itch again.

Sounds like you have a plan. Try Wengered Performance and see what comes out of it. I’m not sure what your goal is but you should have a good low 600 wheel setup.
  18. Getting the itch again.

    I'm going this route, thanks!
  19. Getting the itch again.

Welcome! That's odd that PBD hasn't returned your messages, I can still get a message back within a day so keep trying (if you want to go that route). Also make sure you check your spam folder since I ran into that issue once before. Tuner wise… There’s a lot of good ones. But being in Florida...
