Hi all,
I have a Procharged Stage 2 HO kit (on the passenger side), which has a 3.6" grip tech 6 rib on it. Ultimately, with time, I plan on pushing it harder - 3.4" and OD lower - but at what time will the 6 rib give up?
Should I just piece together an 8 rib, similar to that of of a...
yikes! Thatās nuts. Makes sense about 5th gear, I heard the stronger gear set is 1-4th only. We basically have the same end goals yet I will be using mine at the track. I think you may be fine with a Calimer stage 3 if you use a higher end organic twin or triple disc. Iām sure the little give...
thank you sir, I appreciate your help. I do feel the 4.30 rear would be good, itād make my 4th gear end around 145ish which is nice since I have a centri car. I know thereās the 4.09 like you so⦠ill have to think about it.
Hi all,
I was pretty set on going with a T56 swap in my 2015 3.73 car but now I'm just not sure over say a built MT82 because of the T56's WIDE gear ratio. I've done as much searching as my brain can handle so I just wanted to ask for those who went with the T56 if it's 'too much gear?' I do...
The more I look into the T56 I am not sure I like the gearing from 3rd to 4th. I really don't want to change my 3.73's... I may just look into a stage 3 Mt82.
If you have a Gates itās as easy as adding letters behind the belt. Example - K060710 in an HD belt would be K060710HD. The ā6ā in the number is the rib count and the 710 is the length; 71 inches (if it was 715, it would be 71.5ā)
I spoke with Wengerd already and he said that he could tune my setup no problem, which is cool but if I go this route I spent an overall of like 3 grand in tunes. š
Hey buddy! I appreciate the reply/concern. Letās just say itās always in limbo⦠never has been awful and never has been good. But, Iām to the point that I just have to enjoy the car versus selling it and starting over. I personally feel like I have a good amount of -quality- parts in her so Iām...
