  1. Taking a modded car to the dealership.

My concern with taking the car in is that they might try to "retune" the car using a stock tune? I have a backup camera issue and a suspicious clutch / master problem brewing.
  2. Mustang Colors Over Time

Since CO is being replaced with Grabber Blue, I'd go that route. The finish on my car seems to hide everything from dirt to marks. Even stone chips on the mirrors are virtually invisible. Good luck to you!
  3. Stock GT PP Impresses in first track test

Drove a 2000 S2000 for 3 years... took some time off in sedans, picked up where I left off with my 15 GT PP Recaro car, and from a seat-of-the-pants perspective feel that it's got the torque to outspeed the lighter car. What made the S2k so amazing was the speed to the redline! Thanks for...
  4. And I thought I was locking my car

Has anyone left their key fob in the car, closed the door and been locked out, while the car was running? This happened to me when I was warming the car up on a sub-32 degree day. Not before or since... any feedback? I did retrieve my other fob and unlock the car, but what if I wasn't home.
  5. GT350 Steering wheel

Installed mine this weekend during halftime on one of the games, and barely missed much of the 3rd Quarter. The GT350 wheel should be standard on the PP models, especially the GT Premium. Ford, are you listening?
  6. 5.0 Cold Air Intake issues?

IMHO, a tune increases the available power by some margin, definitely measurable on a dyno (and to some degree seat-of-the-pants). After I added the JLT, and it's specific tune, there was a much larger difference in power/ driveability. I drilled 2 extra holes in the grille to optimize (read...
  7. Performance Package for Daily Driver...comments? experiences?

There are a couple of parallel threads going, but the PP makes a great DD, with the following caveat... be very careful with the summer-only tires. The car drives well in all seasons, but the tires don't love cold weather or slippery surfaces. I love mine and PP was a must-have. Good luck!
  8. Other pro's and con's of the Performance Pack?

Time to chime in here... I wanted a 9/10 Daily Driver, so PP with ALL it's unique items makes it competitive with the SS-1LE I was cross-shopping. I'm very happy with the overall car, and noted the same comments as above (lower FE and far less "floaty"). Plus, the Recaros rock! Hope this...
  9. Black Roof Crew!

    Wrapped or painted?
  10. BLIS and Heavy Rain

I experienced a temporary failure today when the temps dropped to 32 degrees, which caused the left rear indicator to display along with the dash alert. When the temps peaked into the 50's all good again. I've had similar systems on other cars and never saw this. Like most of you, driving...
  11. 15/16 GT Getting Ford "Track Key" Tune

Will it play nicely with my Performance and Sport tunes that I've already installed?
  12. Interior Gauge and Display Brightness

And, the digital speedometer, like the GT350 has. Thanks, Santa!
  13. Any reason to buy the Performance Package if I DON'T want 3.73's?

Chiming in here... got a Premium PP car, and think that PP is about the limit for a DD. If you're aiming at a Drag Pack car, enjoy the power, heated and cooled seats (lost mine to the Recaros), drive modes, skip the Torsen, and get the right axle ratio for your application, maybe even the...
  14. My Competition Orange V8

Welcome to the CO club... hard to hide this color car! Enjoy!
  15. RECARO SEAT BACK RATTLE

Funny that you mention that...my driver's seat makes a specific creak, side-to-side movement (like cornering). Thought it was just me, dealer visit imminent.
  16. Production numbers?

Should be out soon... as the '16s are rolling in.
  17. Modified grill for lower intake temps?

I drilled 2 one-half inch holes in the grill next to the open spaces... went fro 15 degrees down to 4-5, at speed. Made a huge difference and is hardly noticeable. The grill delete is cool, but I wanted a more stock appearance.
  18. Attracting every moron

Okay, so I thought it was the CO, but I get a lot of revving engines, and all of the above... last one was a 2014 Corvette. Wanted to drag in a residential area, ugh!
  19. Clutch Spring Removal to Aid in Linear Pressure

Pulled mine yesterday, and like most of you, discovered an entirely different driving experience. Going to use all the money saved from the therapist on why I felt like I couldn't control the shifting to buy more performance parts.
