I also did the customcargrilles.com diy grille kit. Its not to hard of a project, I did it with a old malfunctioning dremel and it turned out great. The hardest part was waiting for the epoxy to cure. It gives it an open look like the old gt500 while giving some protection from debris. I'm not...
Ya, I'm not a fan of this 2 screws into plastic deal. I preferred how Imported cars handled their plates, with proper threaded screw mounts. I'm in the middle of putting in proper thread mounts to screw into behind the bumper, and as much as I hate having a front plate I modified one of those...
I think the AC blower control could of been a bit bigger. Don't see why the seat warmer/cooler would be bigger than the main controls. Temp toggle control is good though. Really not the biggest issue as I generally set all my settings before driving. At least the temp I set is the temp I get...
A few years ago I used to have an 07' E63 BMW M6, and I came across someone with a 650i with M6 bumpers and exterior trim and badges. It was all fun and games till I revved my V10. Generally I'm against removing badges, but I swapped my trunk GT badge and grille horse for the coyote badge. As...
I get a bit of a pop on the Roush Axle back, stock midpipe, stock headers. Maybe not as loud or prolonged as my GTR straight piped, but its there if coming off after downshifting mid to high rpms. The crackle is definitely there though. I'd suggest a louder more free flowing exhaust setup.
Mine are a bit looser than than I'd like after 6000 miles. I figure its just ford quality, as I only weigh 150lbs, and only drive about 40 mins a day commuting. They look like my old BMW with 35k+ miles on them. I figure when it gets bad or when I get around to recovering my hard surfaces, I'll...
In Texas your able to have a loaded concealed handgun within reach in the car as its an extension of home without a license. No concealment laws against long rifles in car. You only need a CHL for carrying on person. I'm leaning toward a glock 19.
I've taken my bumper off a few times, and it lines back up nicely, there are alignment pins at the top to center the bumper. On the sides where the headlamps meat the bumper and fender are clips that only snap in one way. I do recommend and angle bit driver adapter though. I use a dewalt right...
I second on the diminished vale note. Reminds me of my BMW M3, owned it for a whole 7 days before some woman in her boyfriend's F250 rear ended me at a stop last year. Caused 4 grand in damage. Sorry about your stang. It prob won't be totaled given it looks to only be body damage. Be sure to...
Someone posted about a custom build to create an active quad exhaust, looked like he just cut his lower valance to accommodate the pipes, and built his own vacuum actuated exhaust system.

Thought I'd share how my JPM alcantara install looks too. I did the same brake boot, shift boot, Barton reverse lock out to match, and arm rest. Matches well with the gt350 steering wheel, bit the red stitching is a hair darker than the wheels stitching. I also dyed my seat stitches to match the...
I used the same conpany, different mesh, great results. Hardest part, waiting for the epoxy to cure. It gives it that open grille look I loved on the previous GT500, but keeps debris out.
People are A-holes, when I was living in New Hampshire, I brought my Mercedes up there from TX for spring time and it got keyed a few times, guess the Tx tags made it a target. But the fuel cap locked.
Sounds like bad luck, I've had mine since April, washed car with pressure washer a few times, been driving in the heavy Houston rain and all has been well. (knock on wood) My guess would be the bulb holder was not seated fully or properly.
