Funny, all my tickets have been in slow/practical cars: Pontiac Sunbird 2000, Chevy Cavalier, Mazda Protege, and a Honda Element (not my car BTW).
The moment I started upping the horsepower, the tickets have been hard to come by. Maybe I'm hypnotizing the cops with my stylish rides now.
10,000 miles in and I still get that grin on my face when I hit the gas pedal. No jerkiness for me in Drive. Sport mode is a little much for the daily grind but fun when I have a long open stretch, no red lights, and no traffic.
Not a single regret from me!
Interesting. I've read some folks were taking the old 2015-2017 version and installing them in the 2018's, but it's nice to see Ford making a 2018 specific one.
Power Packs just have to be next. Stop teasing us Ford!
Yeah, this was the warning I was given about them trying to fix it. That any adjustment could fix one side but then make another side worse. It would be a trial & error deal. It just sounded like a gamble I wasn't willing to take...yet.
My trunk was actually smacking the bumper and created a nice sized line along the top of the bumper. Honestly, I ignored it until I couldn't ignore it any longer. I did some tests and could see that it was no longer hitting because the bumper appeared to settle downwards and I also had a small...
Yes, some links to the power packs are definitely broken. But can be accessed from the main Ford Performance page though. Still, very interesting indeed! Credit card at the ready. Here's hoping...:fingerscrossed:
Yep, same with mine. I also like it that way because it's more discrete coming out of the grocery, popping the trunk, and not announcing to every crackhead in the parking lot, "Rob me HERE!"
Agreed on the tint. If I can see your truck's logo through the windows, it ain't dark enough. :sunglasses:
I had so many mods done before I finally relented on the tint. It should've been the first for the Southern heat alone.
And take it from me. That beautiful color will love it!
It doesn't take much to trigger a hater. Stay away from YouTube where you'll find thousands of vids of jerks damaging all manner of cars for little to no reason at all. Ask me how I know this!
And parking far away doesn't always help. So many times I've left dozens of empty spots between my...
Automatic wash for 10+ year old cars that already have faded paint. Hand wash for new cars that I actually care about. My Mustang has never been anywhere near an auto-wet-sander.
Pretty much any drive-thru and I'll get "Cool car honey/baby/sweety/homey/bro/etc."
But my favorite was last weekend. Leaving a Blue Coast Burrito and hit the remote start. I saw 2 kids, brother & sister, maybe around 8 years old, just staring at the Stang in amazement.
Dad says to them...
I'm VERY interested in this too! Unfortunately, my months of google research has only revealed a few rumors. Mostly, a few folks who claim to be "in the know" are saying end of summer/early fall so that Ford can sell some Bullitts first. Grain of salt automatically added since...well...the...
Coming from a Lexus with VERY nice leather seats...I don't miss them at all. Fits me like a glove and yep I daily drive it. Cleaning is as easy as taking a damp cloth, a little Chemical Guys Fabric Clean, and a quick wipe. 7000 miles and I've only had to do this twice. Both times after...
I had the same problem until I noticed that I could see the clips if I just pulled one side at a time. Pushed in the clip "wings" with a screwdriver and pulled to release it like BlueThunder's second method.
Once done, I had to push the clips back up towards the roof before re-attaching the...
