It was definitely funny! Better than their current “Real customers who just switched to Chevy” commercial. I’d love to see a real ad war between Ford & Chevy, but I’m afraid that it would just be too easy for Ford to fire back:
Unlike some YTers, this is his only car. A downed car means no content. That means lost subscribers, lost views, lost income. And this is not the first time it's been down due to an accident (actually, it's been through a lot). I can understand his frustration and the feeling that he may be...
Same here. I don't have anything special going on as far as I know with my pretty bare-bones Allstate policy. Safelite repaired my chip before I could finish reading an article in one of the mags on their table.
Yeah, slide the seat all the way back, grab a flashlight, and prepare to do some yoga. I've had my whole head under there installing the sport pedal assembly and I never saw anything hanging or greasy. Basically, put your feet flat on the ground, your back on the seat, and slide your shoulder...
I have to agree. The oem blades lasted me over a year. Daily driver in heat, rain, sleet, and snow. If I hadn’t already bought some Bosch blades on sale when I bought the car, I probably would’ve just purchased the oems again.
I tried cramming the big ones in and they just wiggled out after a couple weeks. Then, I actually read the directions and noticed that they advise to start with the small ones. Even though they felt like they were going to wiggle out too, after 6 months, they've never budged.
Just watched one of the vids and you can hear them howling at the fun they're having hot-dogging down a dangerously tight residential street at 75 mph. Somebody like that needs to find another line of work. Your requests are not unreasonable. You have every right to be upset.
Don't sweat...
I've had the R3, Blendmount, and Mirrortap setup running for the past 6 months and have loved it. Only weird thing was a false laser alert in a shopping mall parking lot. I also run Waze just-in-case and I've only had one butt-pucker moment when a cop came rolling up behind me with no radar...
Thanks for the update! That makes sense. I was expecting intake+tune at best and if someone wants more, then they would say get the Roush supercharger. Very curious about how much performance they'll actually squeeze out with their tune. I hope it's more than just turning Drive mode into...
Actually, I get a lot of attention from women. It's been about 50/50 men/women who have come up to me about the car. The difference is:
Men: Want to know specs & the mods I've done.
Women: Think it's really pretty & want to know how fast I've driven. (I think the speed thing may be a trick...
It's been a couple months, but American Muscle has a video tour of Ford Performance where an engineer shows them that the 2018 power packs are definitely going to happen. They couldn't show actual numbers, but the engineer seemed pretty proud about...well...whatever it is they're going to offer.
Nearly 12,000 miles and I'm still in the honeymoon phase. No slap & tickles under the hood. Lots of looking back at it when walking away. Lots of smiling when starting it up. Lots of dreaming of making it even more powerful.
“Mark Rechtin had the convertible collapse into limp-home mode in less than two laps of the circuit.”
That’s just embarrassing. Not a good look for Ford or the Mustang no matter the bias of the publication.
