  1. 2015 Mustang Interior inspire by the Ford GT?

Honestly, I don't care who ford "looks to" if that someone did it right. Toggle switches are ideal for a few things, and more than ideal for traction control. I hope that remains a feature in the production model.

Awesome! Thanks for the reply, especially since I know it's been asked. I must have missed that render shot. Looks great!

I could've sworn I remembered someone mentioning this, but has anything been said about rear license plate placement? My thought is that between the taillights might make more sense, given that the space will have to accommodate American as well as the wider European plates. Any cutout for a...

Mustangs have not always had a "muscular b-pillar." Sn95 mustangs didn't have them, fox hatch mustangs didn't have them, and 69-70 mustangs, including the Mach 1 and Boss iterations, did not have them. The ability to put fake scoops on will always be there, since, let's face it, ricers will...
  5. 2015 Mustang Engine Lineup and Power Figures Revealed by Ford Survey

For the v8 to remain, you will likely see v8s with eco modes such as the c7 corvette has, to shut off cylinders when not wanted. I think eco modes will dominate more and more segments so that manufacturers can state a low possible emissions standard and still give the performance enthusiasts or...

I've used the back seat for people plenty of times. Although, I would never put anyone over the age of 40 back there for any length of time. Just too difficult to get in and out. If we were talking about the convertible though, idk, I might, if it was top-down weather
  7. Pros and Cons: Engine Options?

I'm interested in the i4, but I'd probably rather hold out for an ecoboost v6 model. About the only v8 offering that would sway me from those would be a naturally aspirated flat plane crank v8. I've done the supercharged/built v8 route, and I'm ready for something different.

I think you're confused as to what build quality means. Build quality means fit, finish, and materials used being of a high quality. Merely comparing the polish put on the render is not an accurate measurement of build quality. Chaz's renders are basic, yes, but C&D just has more money and...
  9. C&D Cover Purports Leaked 2015 Mustang Images

Another problem with getting weight off of the mustang versus the f-150 is the fact that they're likely (hopefully) using higher quality interior components and adding the IRS. I really think that any of the rumored weight losses will be with the i4 model, rather than the GT as everyone seems...

Forgot it was an inline 4? :tsk:
  11. Introduce yourself!!

Trolled around long enough without joining, figured I might as well. I have driven a few cars in my life. Of note was an 02 v6 mustang that I supercharged. It had around 280 rwhp. Sold that. Have a 2005 mustang gt that is built with a 3 liter blower that makes around 590 rwhp on E-85...
  12. deal breakers

I'd have to say it would be a deal breaker for me if they didn't offer any upgrade packages with the v4t engine. Looking at getting a performance package, but not a v8 this time around, mainly for the practicality and weight savings.
