just whats posted above. roush taking forever to get the scanner/data recorder to tindol. tindol says it will be next week before they know anything. i did press them about me coming to drive the car to make the light come on but they avoided the question.
Starting a new job about a month...
This leg of the disaster is on roush and their slow response time on getting a package sent to tindol. They took 6 days to decide to send the recorder to tindol then another 9 days to get it to them.
If it comes back take it to dealership and have the cat replaced. It falls under the extended federal emissions warranty. Cat inefficiency codes rarely get resolved with anything other than a new cat. The exception being if there is an exhaust leak near the cat.
Last update I got was actually from Tindol. They called to let me know Roush is sending out the Scanner and that they and the tech have used it before. She then went on to tell me she doesnt know when or how they sent it. I then told her the last time I offered to drive the car you refused...
I absolutely will take it to a dyno when this is all over with. 620 is the number on the dyno sheet Beechmont gave me. If its far off of that then im not done with them lol.
Thanks
I have a tuner that worked at the shop with me wanting to fix it but Im gonna make Roush stand behind it for now. Funny thing is when i talk to Roush they always say yeah this is a strange case. We never had one like this before.
I even asked today what happens if it cant be figured...
I have a few dealerships close to me but chose to bypass them and go to Tindol thinking they would be able to handle this better than anyone. This was also based off the fact that prior to buying my car from Beechmont I called a few local dealerships and asked about them installing a Roush...
Well seems I have pissed off Roush now. Took the Car back to Tindol on Wednesday and once again told them exactly what it was doing. Since then I have sent a couple emails to the owner of Tindol which have gone unanswered. I tried Thursday and Friday to get Roush on the phone but i could...
NC and OH both have lemon law. Im just uncertain which state i need to claim that in. I have met the requirements for either state. Variables that im unsure of are which state, I havent even had a chance to register the car so its still in the dealerships name not sure if that would make...
please do. I have a very talented tuner that worked at a shop with me dying to get his hands on the car. Maybe i can blame him lol. he is the one that talked me into the 10 speed. i was dead set on a manual until the dealership started telling me what colors they had. After talking to this...
The person i spoke to at Roush said he wanted to send it out asap but was getting pushback because it cost $20k it links up via satellite and lets them monitor everything that is happening in real time. Im sure once they start getting phone calls monday morning it will happen.
Roush said they sent the Tindol tech a pin point test to perform and that if they couldnt find anything out they were going to send a field rep out to the car with a Roush specific Scan tool to diag the car.
