That's my thought also. And if the paint starts to degrade I don't have an easy way to revert to black. Besides, I'm not convinced it will look good even if they do get good adhesion on the texture.
So last week I got rear-ended at a stoplight which sucks, but insurance is taking care of the repairs.
Today while I was at the dealership's body shop, I asked about getting the black part of the rear two-piece valence swapped out for one that is white. He told me that it only comes in the...
Hindsight being what it is, I probably would have gone fastback if I did it again. I got over the trunk space pretty quickly, but the stiffening subframe really limits options for exhaust upgrades.
But I digress...OW or bust!
Stock resonator was long gone when I put on the Roush mufflers so I really can't comment on the difference. Hindsight being 20/20 I would have gone with a full catback from the start considering I spent near what a decent setup would have run me. That being said, I'm happy with where I ended up...
Got my update done today. Surprisingly issue free. Now I'd like to have Apple CarPlay and I understand I need to replace my center console USB hub. Two questions though if anybody can answer them.
1. Why can't I use CarPlay with a USB connection? Or can I?
2. CarPlay doesn't even show up...
I think some of the stick ons look decent, but overall I'm not a fan either. I wish it was possible to replace the rear quarter panel with one that has scoops integrated. On the fastback these panels are very difficult to replace because they consist of more than just the panel. I think they are...
Over the past two weekends I dropped my CS an inch with BMR SP080s, installed the Steeda IRS bushing inserts and support kit, installed a Roush axle back and a Magnaflow resonated X-pipe. Love the look, handling, and the sound!
Crappy weather lately so I haven't been able to get a good...
Before - CJPP H-pipe with Roush axle backs:

After - resonated X-pipe installed, still with Roush axle backs:

Not the best quality video, but you get a basic idea. It significantly tamed the Roush axle backs. Sorry the clips were so quick. I was already in the dog house, so I needed...
I've got a Roush axle back and I'm replacing my H-pipe res delete with this. I'm going to try to get to it this weekend, but I'll get a before and after video up when it's done.
Am I correct in assuming the volume after installation is somewhere between stock resonator and resonator delete? Trying to figure out how to tone down my Roush axle backs that are currently installed with an h-pipe resonator delete.
