Loudness is very subjective...however I have the stock active exhaust with an x-pipe and I don’t find it overbearing at all. If I am going to make a call I just put it in quiet. Not sure what’s going on but I’m assuming your friends exhaust just has less resonance making its way into the cabin.

I love the active exhaust feature. I ordered the car with it. I will say that 99% of the time I’m in track mode and with an x-pipe it sounds amazing. Quiet mode is awesome on longer highway drives though if you just have the cruise control set. It’s very quiet. I don’t regret it one bit...

Installed my SR Performance X-Pipe today. Startup is in normal and switched to track mode right away. A few revs in track, then quiet, then track again.

I did 35% on the front doors and 20% on the quarters and rear. That's what's legal in Nebraska and I wanted to avoid any unwanted attention in this car. I went darker on my truck but I'm enjoying the visibility in the Mustang. Sometimes too dark just doesn't look good.

It's been hit or miss. I've seen new GT500's with the old style, a new GT350 at our dealership the other day with the old style, and numerous 2020 GT's with the old style however my 2020 just showed up with the shark fin. So it must've been a change in production in the last couple of months...

I agree. The wheels are what originally made me want one of these before I knew anything about them. I’ve kept my eyes open for one for about a year now and haven’t seen any out and about. I see a lot of pp1’s though.

I had 3M clear bra put on the bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors today. Also going to pick up some Rokblokz splash guards for the front and rear.

Yeah it’s wrapped up in the passenger seat. They install it during PDI. I conveniently work at the dealership too so I know some of the quirks.
